Eftersom tanken faktiskt var att den här bloggen skulle handla en hel del om film och inte bara innehålla skvaller om Paris Hilton och Britney Spears så blir det nu lite filmnyheter här.

Som ni kanske vet vid det här laget så har FOX bestämt sig för att släppa Die Hard 4 som en PG13-film [Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13]. Detta betyder bland annat att dom får använda ordet “fuck” högst två gånger och måste begränsa våld och blod en hel del.

Folk som väntat på filmen blev förstås väldigt upprörda av detta. Det tillhör liksom att Bruce Willis ska säga “fuck” i varannan mening i en Die Hard-film, annars blir det helt fel.

Vern från Ain’t it cool news skrev en väldigt upprörd artikel om det hela och folk började kommentera det han skrivit. Bland dom som kommenterade dök det upp en person som påstod sig vara Bruce Willis själv och kallade sig för Walter B.

Då Walter B använde rätt ovårdat språk, vilket Bruce Willis sällan själv gör när han uttalar sig om sitt arbete utan brukar bete sig väldigt professionellt, så trodde folk först inte på honom.

      

Efter ett Bruce pratat med en av läsarna med iChat och dessutom startat sin webkamera för att verkligen bevisa att verkligen var honom så är det dock inte längre någon som tvekar. I am pleased to see Vern, and everyone who responded to Vern’s rant exhibit such emotion over DH4. But as someone who worked on the picture, and has seen a cut of it, I would suggest that all the yakkin’ over the PG-13 issue hang onto their weapons for now. This episode if Die Hard is as good, if not better than the first Movie. And I was there for that one too. In a Summer filled with CG/fantasy driven films, Live Free or Die Hard is an in-your-face, hard-ass Action movie that will satisfy Vern, and anyone else who is a fan of the Die Hard series. All PG-13 means is that you cannot say f*ck more than twice. Other than that, the Mythology of Die Hard lives….I could not have been more pleased with how DH4 turned out. It’ll be out soon enough, and I wanna hear what Vern has to say after he sees LForDie Hard…. Set your pre-judgement aside for another 7 weeks and then decide.

Since they have existed, I always said the first Die Hard was the only good one. I will go on record here as saying that Live Free or Die Hard is better than the first one. Take it from a guy who was there for all of them. John MaFuckin’Clane

Bruce Willis själv anser alltså att det bara är den första filmen i serien som är bra. Att denna då ska vara ännu bättre tyder på bra saker. Sedan vet jag visserligen inte om Bruce gör detta endast för att göra reklam för filmen eller om han verkligen säger vad han tycker. Det lutar dock mycket åt det andra alternativet.

Will be remembered as the guy who not only brought Die Hard into the 21st Century, but brought it back to Life. There is obviously no way to tell until DH4 comes out, but when it does, compare it to DH3, and you will see what I mean. Len Wiseman believes in the Mythology of Die Hard, and lived up to it. Almost every stunt was Old School, and not CGI, and it gives the movie a reality that cannot be found on any Blue Screen. Vern WAS right, I was talking to 9, re: the ‘do the math’ comment. How many Fuck’s you get in a film is an MPAA parochial notion. The MPAA thinks they are saving us all if we only hear 2 Fucks in a film. Bit that rule is also somewhat malleable, and it got pushed to the edge on DH4. But just have a little Faith, and you will be returned to the True Mythology of Die Hard. And I will say Yippe Ki Yay anywhere i choose, daytime TV or not…

Låter fortfarande mycket lovande. För att göra det här mindre tråkigt för er en stund så summerar jag lite små grejjer här. Han fortsätter att säga att om Michael Bay hade regisserat Die Hard 4 så hade den blivit helt värdelöst. Låt oss återgå till lite mer citat direkt från Bruce själv.

Also, here are my top 5 or 6 movies, which I generally watch 3 to 5 times a year. Dr. Strangelove, Raging Bull, The first 2 Godfathers, Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, Spartacus, Bridge on the River Kwai, Bullitt, the Great Escape, On the Waterfront, Resevoir Dogs, Patton, I really dug 300, the first Alien, Last Picture Show…. that’s more than 5 or 6… thanks bw
